WHITSUN ADJOURNMENT 2010
Members wishing to table questions in person may do so in the usual way in the Table Office until 6.30 pm or the rising of
the House (whichever is earlier) on Thursday 27 May. After that, they may table Questions for oral or written answer electronically
or by post. Such questions will be treated as if tabled on Wednesday 2 June.

On Wednesday 2 June the House will meet at 2.30 pm (Standing Order No. 9(1)). Questions to the Secretary of State for International
Development will take place immediately after Prayers, and Questions to the Prime Minister will take place from 3.00 pm to
3.30 pm.

The results of the shuffles on 27 May will be published on 28 May in the Question Book Part 2, available from the Vote Office and on

QUESTIONS FOR WRITTEN ANSWER
Questions for ordinary written answer tabled before 6.30 pm or the rising of the House, whichever is the earlier, on Thursday
27 May will be for answer on Thursday 3 June.
The earliest date which may be specified for answer for a question for named day answer tabled before 6.30 pm or the rising
of the House, whichever is earlier, on Thursday 27 May, is Monday 7 June.
Private Members’ Bills
The Ballot for Private Members’ Bills will be held on Thursday 10 June at 10.00 am in Committee Room 10. The ballot book will
be placed in the “No” Division Lobby during the hours the House sits (except during a Division) on Tuesday 8 and Wednesday
9 June.
