Protection of Freedoms Bill (Programme)
Motion made and Question put forthwith (Standing Order No. 83A(7)), That the following provisions shall apply to the Protection of Freedoms Bill:
Committal
1. The Bill shall be committed to a Public Bill Committee.
Proceedings in Public Bill Committee
2. Proceedings in the Public Bill Committee shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion on Tuesday 10 May.
3. The Public Bill Committee shall have leave to sit twice on the first day on which it meets.
Consideration and Third Reading
4. Proceedings on Consideration shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion one hour before the moment of interruption on the day on which those proceedings are commenced.
5. Proceedings on Third Reading shall (so far as not previously concluded) be brought to a conclusion at the moment of interruption on that day.
6. Standing Order No. 83B (Programming committees) shall not apply to proceedings on Consideration and Third Reading.

(1) the payment out of money provided by Parliament of-
(a) any expenditure incurred by a Minister of the Crown by virtue of this Act; and
(b) any increase attributable to this Act in the sums payable by virtue of any other Act out of money so provided, and
(2) the making of payments into the Consolidated Fund.-(Bill Wiggin.)

EU Internal Security Strategy

European Committee C in respect of European Union Document No. 15274/10, relating to the Commission Green Paper: Audit Policy-Lessons from the Crisis
Mr Andrew Rosindell (Chair) reported the following Resolution:
That the Committee takes note of European Union Document No. 15274/10 and Addendum, relating to a Commission Green Paper: Audit Policy-Lessons from the Crisis; and supports the Government’s approach to work closely with the European Commission to deliver an effective framework for audit as part of a corporate governance regime and to promote national solutions to these issues, where appropriate, rather than seeking legislation at EU level.
