3 Charitable Healthcare Providers (Value Added Tax Relief): Motion for leave to bring in a Bill (Standing Order No. 23)

Ordered, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to provide for charitable healthcare providers taking on new responsibilities from the National Health Service to be able to recover value added tax on the same non-business supplies as the NHS in respect of those responsibilities; and for connected purposes;

That Nic Dakin, Stuart Andrew, Mr Kevin Barron, Chris Evans, Julie Hilling, Kris Hopkins, Martin Horwood, Greg Mulholland, Paul Murphy, Andrew Percy, Bob Russell and Jim Shannon present the Bill.

5 European Union Bill: Third Reading

Bill read the third time, and passed.

6 Welsh Grand Committee

Ordered, That-

(1) the matter of the Budget as it relates to Wales be referred to the Welsh Grand Committee for its consideration;

(2) the Committee shall meet at Westminster on Wednesday 30 March at 9.30 am and 2.30 pm to consider-

(a) a Ministerial statement by the Chief Secretary to the Treasury, proceeded with under Standing Order No. 105 (Welsh Grand Committee (ministerial statements));

(b) the matter referred to it under paragraph (1) above;

and

(3) the Chair shall interrupt proceedings at the afternoon sitting not later than two hours after their commencement at that sitting.-(Stephen Crabb.)

A Public Petition from residents of the Borough of Poole relating to Refurbishment of Hillbourne School, Poole was presented and read by Mr Robert Syms.

A Public Petition from residents of Leeds and supporters of the Fairer Fares Campaign relating to Regulation of Bus Services (Leeds) was presented and read by Greg Mulholland.
