1. The Committee published its Ninth Report of Session 2010-12 on 28 July 2011. The Government's Response was received on 10 October 2011 and is appended to this Report.

2. The Committee welcomes the Government's intention to consider whether information from trade associations and whistleblowers might found an investigation. However, the Committee urges the Government not to let such further consideration delay introduction of a Bill at an early stage.
