Summary

On 24 May 2011 the Welsh Affairs Committee and the Culture, Media and Sport Committee held a joint pre-appointment hearing with the Government's preferred candidate for Chairman of the S4C Authority, Huw Jones. On the basis of the evidence provided to the Committees, we have concluded that he is a suitable candidate for the post.
