We are writing to support the submission by the Bond Disability and Development Group to the UK Parliament International Development Committee’s inquiry on Post-2015 Development Goals, in which ADD was involved.

ADD International is one of the leading organisations on the research project Voices of the Marginalised (disabled people, persons with health issues and older people), who are submitting separately some evidence.

We would like to emphasise the importance of involving disabled people’s organisations in the development of the new Post-2015 framework. Their participation will ensure a better understanding of the real issues faced by disabled people issues and result in truly inclusive development policies in line with the United Nations Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

ADD international would be happy to act as a facilitator to invite representatives of the disability movement from the South to present evidence to the committee.
