- Written evidence from the Professional Interpreters for Justice This submission is made on behalf of the following representative bodies which are partners in the Professional Interpreters for Justice campaign: Association of Police and Court Interpreters (APCI), Institute of Translation and Interpreting (ITI), National Register of Public Service Interpreters (NRPSI), National Union of Professional Interpreters and Translators (NUPIT)/UNITE the Union, Professional Interpreters’ Alliance (PIA), Society of Official Metropolitan Interpreters (SOMI UK), Society for Public Service Interpreting (SPSI). Additionally, the Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIoL) is a participant in the Campaign’s Steering Committee as an observer, and in common with several of the above bodies will also be submitting evidence in its own right.
