CONCERNS FOR SMART METER ROLL OUT INQUIRY

1. I am opposed to the introduction of Smart Meters due to concerns over the high levels of microwave radiation which may be 600 times higher than the accepted EPA “safe” level.

2. I am further opposed because it is not clear whether any tests have been carried out to establish the impact of these meters on human health.

3. I ask that the Committee stop the introduction of Smart Meters until such as time as adequate health and safety testing has been completed.

4. There is no evidence to support the introduction in terms of reduction of cost to the consumer, on the contrary reports suggest that consumers have experienced an increase in cost.
