Of this number (applications in 2012), how many have a) received and initial decision and b) been concluded?
In 2012, there was an intake of 21,955 main applicants. Of these, 18,423 received an initial decision and 12,632 were concluded.
Of those that have been concluded, how many were granted a) asylum, b) humanitarian protection and c) discretionary leave as an initial decision?
Of those concluded, 5,173 were granted asylum; 73 were granted humanitarian protection and 641 were granted discretionary leave as an initial decision.
Of those that have been concluded, how many were granted a) asylum, b) humanitarian protection and c) discretionary leave following an appeal?
Of those concluded, 1,543 were granted asylum; 46 were granted humanitarian protection and 62 were granted discretionary leave following an appeal.
