1 Introduction
Our inquiry
1. The Autumn Statement was delivered by the Chancellor
on Wednesday 5 December 2013, and the Economic and fiscal outlook
was published by the Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR) on
the same day. In examining the policies and forecasts presented
in these documents, the Treasury Committee held four oral evidence
hearings, during which we took evidence from six panels of witnesses
as follows:
Monday 9 December 2013: Office for Budget Responsibility
