Standing Orders (Private Business): That the Amendments to Standing Orders relating to Private Business set out in the Schedule be made.
SCHEDULE

Standing Order 12, line 11, after ‘in’ insert ‘, or where that is not reasonably practicable, in some conspicuous position as close as is reasonably practicable to,’.

Standing Order 12, line 15, after first ‘in’ insert ‘, or where that is not reasonably practicable in some conspicuous position as close as is reasonably practicable to,’.

Standing Order 12, line 19, after ‘road’ insert ‘, or where that is not reasonably practicable, in some conspicuous position as close as is reasonably practicable to the street or road’.

Standing Order 12A, line 4, leave out ‘at the ends of the part of the footpath or bridleway proposed to be stopped up or diverted’ and insert-
‘(a) at each end ("the notifiable end") of the part of the footpath or bridleway proposed to be stopped up or diverted; or
(b) where the notifiable end is not reasonably accessible or its exact location is not readily visible, at some other place where the notice is likely to come to the attention of persons seeking to use the footpath or bridleway’.
