Parliament), proposed by the Chair, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft
Report be read a second time, paragraph by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 31 read and agreed to.
Paragraph 32 read.
Amendment proposed, in line 13, at the end to add
"Although the committee has held back an application because
of opposition from a select committee chair it is the committee's
view that select committee chairs should not be able to veto the
tabling of motions affecting their committees and such a decision
by the committee should not be taken in the future.".-(John
