The Environmental Audit Committee reported to the House on HS2 and the environment on 7 April 2014 (HC 1076). The High Speed Rail (London-West Midlands) Bill received its Second Reading on 28 April,[1] and the select committee on the Bill was set up and given Instructions by the House on 29 April.[2] The Government response to the Committee's Report was received on 3 June, and is appended below.
