The Sub-Committee considered this matter.
Peter Jinman left the chair and Mr Tom Clarke was called to the
chair.
Draft Report (The Standards System in the House of Commons), proposed
by the Chair, brought up and read.
Ordered, That the draft Report be read a second time, paragraph
by paragraph.
Paragraphs 1 to 200 read and agreed to.
Appendices agreed to.
Summary, as amended, agreed to.
Resolved, That the Report be the Report of the Sub-Committee
to the Committee.
None of the lay members present wished to submit an opinion on
the Report (Standing Order No. 149 (9).
Ordered, That the Chair make the Report to the Committee.
