6 Draft Protection of Charities Bill (Joint Committee)
Resolved, That this House concurs with the Lords Message of 28 October 2014, that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider the draft Protection of Charities Bill presented to both Houses on 22 October 2014 (Cm 8954), and that the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 28 February 2015.
Ordered, That a Select Committee of six Members be appointed to join with the Committee appointed by the Lords;
That the Committee shall have power-
(i) to send for persons, papers and records;
(ii) to sit notwithstanding any adjournment of the House; (iii) to report from time to time;
(iv) to appoint specialist advisers; and
(v) to adjourn from place to place within the United Kingdom;
That Mr Nick Hurd, Mr Bernard Jenkin, Mrs Emma Lewell-Buck, Mark Menzies, Sarah

8 Serious Crime Bill [Lords]
The Lords have passed a Bill to amend the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, the Computer Misuse Act 1990, Part 4 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009, section 1 of the Children and Young Persons Act 1933, the Female Genital Mutilation Act 2003, the Prohibition of Female Genital Mutilation (Scotland) Act 2005 and the Terrorism Act 2006; to make provision about involvement in organised crime groups and about serious crime prevention orders; to make provision for the seizure and forfeiture of drug-cutting agents; to make it an offence to possess an item that contains advice or guidance about committing sexual offences against children; to make it an offence to possess a knife or offensive weapon inside a prison; to make provision approving for the purposes of section 8 of the European Union Act 2011 certain draft decisions under Article 352 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union relating to serious crime; and for connected purposes, to which they desire the agreement of the Commons.

Miss Anne McIntosh (Chair) reported the following Resolution:
That the Committee takes note of European Union Document No. 17709/13, a Commission Staff Working Document-Paving the way for an EU Development and Cooperation Results Framework; and welcomes the document as an important step towards putting in place a results framework which will help drive improvements in the impact of the European Commission’s development programmes by reporting results achieved and providing performance information for the Commission and others to act on.
