5 Equal Pay (Transparency): Motion for leave to bring in a Bill (Standing Order No. 23)
Motion made and Question put, That leave be given to bring in a Bill to require the Secretary of State to make Regulations under Section 78 of the Equality Act 2010 to require employers of more than 250 employees to publish information relating to the pay of employees for the purpose of showing whether there are differences in the pay of male and female employees; and for connected purposes.-(Sarah Champion.)

The Lords have passed a Bill to enable the law relating to societies registered and incorporated under the Friendly Societies Act 1992 and certain mutual insurers to be amended to permit or facilitate the issue of deferred shares; and to restrict the voting rights of members who hold such shares, to which they desire the agreement of the Commons.
