The Karuna Trust has
had an in-house face to face fundraising programme, acquiring
regular gifts on the doorstep, for over twenty years. The income
we receive from it forms a crucial part of our overall public
fundraising, some 85%. Our views regarding Part III of the draft
Bill have been pertinently expressed by Tim Lilley Fundraising
Consultancy. Therefore we refer you to their submission, and urge
you to take their proposals on board.
We are a member of the PFRA (Public Fundraising Regulatory
Association) and also support their submission.
