Pensions Increase (Pension Schemes for David Calvert-Smith)
Regulations 2003 (S.I. 2003/2623)
1. The Clerk requested in a letter dated 11 November
2003 a memorandum addressing the following point:
In the copies supplied to the Committee, the date
of coming into force in regulation 1 is incomplete, as is the
date appearing against the signatures. Confirm the date(s) on
which the instrument was signed and the date which appeared in
regulation 1 when it was signed.
2. The instrument was made on 9 October 2003 and
the date of coming into force in regulation 1 is 1 November 2003.
Regrettably, these dates were inadvertently omitted from the copies
of the Regulations which were supplied to the Committee.
3. The Treasury apologises for this oversight and
the inconvenience it has caused.
