ORDER 2012 (S.I. 2012/2748)
1. The Committee considered the above instrument
at its meeting on 5 December 2012 and asked for a memorandum on
the following point:
Explain what is intended by making article 6 subject
to article 5 (see article 6(3)) and how the intention is achieved.
2. The reference to article 5 in article 6(3)
was a typographical error in the Order. The FCO considers that
this is an error which is both small scale and obvious on the
face of the Order. The amendment needed to correct the mistake
is similarly minor: deletion of "5," in article 6(3).
In these circumstances the FCO considers that it would be appropriate
to rectify the mistake by a correction slip and proposes to contact
the Statutory Instrument Registrar to this end.
