Ms Stephanie Biden, Specialist Adviser to the Committee, declared an interest as a Partner at Bates Wells Braithwaite, a law firm which specialises in advising charities and regularly advises charities on issues which relate to the Charity Commission's regulation of charities. A number of these charities gave evidence to the Committee. Ms Biden also declared interests as a Trustee of OMF International (UK) and as a member of the central support and international committees of the Lawyers' Christian Fellowship.
