36. FEES AND SECURITY FOR COSTS
36.1 Payments of fees and deposits of security
money may be made in cash or by banker's draft or cheque. If
an appellant wishes to pay in cash, the Judicial Office may only
accept cash up to £10,000, in order to comply with money
laundering regulations. Drafts and cheques for fees must be made
payable to 'House of Lords Account'. Drafts and cheques for security
money must be made payable to 'House of Lords Security Fund Account'.
