3.Foskett (suing on his own behalf and on behalf of all other purchasers of plots of land at Mount Eden, Herrado do Cerro Alto Diogo, Martins, Algarve, Portugal) (Original Appellant and Cross-Respondent) v. McKeown (Original Respondent) and others (A.P.) (Original Respondents and Cross-Appellants)—The petition of the original appellant praying that the time for lodging the statement and appendix and setting down the cause for hearing might be extended to 15th June next (the agents for the original respondents consenting thereto) was presented; and it was ordered as prayed.

8.Magistrates’ Courts (Procedure) Bill [HL]—The bill was returned from the Commons agreed to with amendments; it was ordered that the Commons amendments be printed. (HL Bill 111)
9.Blood Alcohol Levels for Drivers (ECC Report)—It was moved by the Lord Geddes that this House take note of the Report of the European Communities Committee on Blood Alcohol Levels for Drivers (16th Report, HL Paper 82); after debate, the motion was agreed to.
10.Animal Health (Amendment) Bill—The order of commitment was discharged.
11.Euthanasia—The Lord McColl of Dulwich asked Her Majesty’s Government how they view the practice of euthanasia in the Netherlands; after debate, the question was answered by the Lord Williams of Mostyn.
