9.Northern Ireland (Sentences) Bill—The House resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; an amendment was agreed to; an amendment was moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; an amendment was disagreed to (see division list); the House was resumed for a statement; the House again resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; an amendment was negatived; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; the House was resumed.
10.Private Hire Vehicles (London) Bill—A bill to provide for licensing and regulation of private hire vehicles, and drivers and operators of such vehicles, within the metropolitan police district and the City of London; and for connected purposes was brought from the Commons, read a first time and ordered to be printed. 11.Waste Minimisation Bill—A bill to enable certain local authorities to make arrangements to minimise the generation of waste in their area; and for related purposes was brought from the Commons, read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 136)

12.Criminal Justice (International Co-operation) (Amendment) Bill [HL]—The bill was returned from the Commons agreed to.
13.Pesticides Bill—The bill was returned from the Commons with the amendment agreed to.
14.Data Protection Bill [HL]—The bill was returned from the Commons agreed to with amendments and with a privilege amendment; it was ordered that the Commons amendments be printed. (HL Bill 137)
15.Tourism in the North West—The Lord Morris of Manchester asked Her Majesty’s Government what new help they are considering to promote in-bound tourism to the North West; after debate, the question was answered by the Lord McIntosh of Haringey.
16.Northern Ireland (Sentences) Bill—The House again resolved itself into a Committee upon the bill; amendments were moved and (by leave of the Committee) withdrawn; amendments were agreed to; the House was resumed and the bill was reported with amendments; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended.
