TO

Bring into force the Easter Act 1928.

BE IT ENACTED by the Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Lords Spiritual and Temporal, and Commons, in this present Parliament assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
 

Commencement of Easter Act 1928.     1. For section 2(2) of the Easter Act 1928, there is substituted-
 
 
    "(2) This Act shall come into force on the day following that on which the Easter Act 1928 (Commencement) Act 1999 comes into force."
 
Short title.     2. This Act may be cited as the Easter Act 1928 (Commencement) Act 1999.
