25.Haslar Prison—The Lord Avebury asked Her Majesty’s Government what were their reasons for deciding not to renew the appointments of three members of the Board of Visitors at Haslar Prison in the Triennial Review on 31st December 2000; after debate, the question was answered by the Lord Davies of Oldham.
