1. | Three Rivers District Council and others (Original Appellants and Cross-respondents) v. Governor and Company of the Bank of England (Original Respondents and Cross-appellants)It was ordered that the question as to costs in the Queens Bench Division which were dealt with by the Order of Mr Justice Clarke of 2nd October 1997 be remitted to a Judge of the Commercial Court in the Queens Bench Division for determination; that the original appellants do pay to the original respondents 20 per cent of their costs in the Court of Appeal and that remainder of the costs of both parties in the Court of Appeal be costs in the cause; that the original appellants do pay to the original respondents the costs incurred by them in this House up to and including 18th May last, the amount thereof to be certified by the Clerk of the Parliaments if not agreed between the parties; that there be no order as to costs in respect of the hearing before the Appellate Committee on 27th June last; and that the original respondents do pay to the original appellants the remainder of the costs incurred by them in this House from 19th May last up to and including today, the amount thereof to be certified by the Clerk of the Parliaments if not agreed between the parties. |
