Baroness Hanham: I believe that the answer is for me to move an amendment on Report which encompasses the problems that I have raised.

Lord Lea of Crondall moved Amendment No. 33:
- After Clause 1, insert the following new clause—
The noble Lord said: The Minister indicated earlier that he would accept the amendment. I beg to move.
Lord Rooker: For the reasons I gave earlier, the Government are happy to agree to the amendment.
On Question, amendment agreed to.
Lord Rooker: This may be a convenient moment for the Committee to adjourn until Monday next at 3.30 p.m.
"INTERPRETATION OF JUNE 2003 AGREEMENT
For the avoidance of doubt, nothing in this Act affects the possibility of the parties agreeing on a reference to mediation, conciliation or arbitration on the interpretation of the June 2003 agreement between the Fire Brigades Union and the local authority fire service employers."
The Committee adjourned at three minutes past seven o'clock.
