6. Merchant Shipping and Fishing Vessels (Port Waste Reception Facilities) Regulations 2003It was moved by the Baroness Farrington of Ribbleton that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 19th June be approved; the motion was agreed to.
7. Human Fertilisation and Embryology (Deceased Fathers) BillIt was moved by the Baroness Pitkeathley that the bill be now read a second time; after debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
8. Community Care Plans (Disapplication) (England) Order 2003It was moved by the Baroness Andrews, on behalf of the Lord Warner, that the draft Order laid before the House on 12th June be approved; the motion was agreed to.
9. Fireworks BillIt was moved by the Baroness Ramsay of Cartvale that the bill be now read a second time; after debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.
10. Immigration (Provision of Physical Data) Regulations 2003It was moved by the Lord Evans of Temple Guiting that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 12th June be approved; after debate, the motion was agreed to.
11. Asylum (Designated States) (No. 2) Order 2003It was moved by the Lord Filkin that the draft Order laid before the House on 17th June be approved; then it was moved by the Lord Goodhart, as an amendment thereto, at end to insert but this House regrets that the Order has been introduced before the establishment of an Advisory Panel on Country Information under section 142 of the Nationality, Immigration and Asylum Act 2002; after debate, the amendment was (by leave of the House) withdrawn; then the original motion was agreed to.
12. Official Secrets Act 1989 (Prescription) (Amendment) Order 2003It was moved by the Lord Filkin that the draft Order laid before the House on 19th June be approved; the motion was agreed to.
13. Patients Protection Bill [HL]The report was received; amendments were agreed to; it was ordered that the bill be printed as amended. (HL Bill 89)
