5.Churches and cities—It was moved by the Lord Archbishop of Canterbury that there be laid before the House papers relating to the role of the churches in the civic life of towns and cities, the churches’ partnership with other bodies and the part they play in addressing the problems of deprivation; after debate, the motion was (by leave of the House) withdrawn.
