(d)  the need to take steps to take account of claimants' disabilities, even where that involves treating some claimants more favourably than other claimants;
(e)  the need to promote positive attitudes towards claimants; and
(f)  the need to encourage participation by claimants in public life.
(   )  For the purpose of this section "disability" has the same meaning as in the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 (c. 50)."

"(   )  No person will be authorised to exercise any function by virtue of subsection (1) or by virtue of regulations under subsection (2) unless he—
(a)  has demonstrated understanding of, and compliance with, disability discrimination legislation;
(b)  has demonstrated a reasonable understanding of physical and mental impairments; and
(c)  is able to secure specialist support for such physical and mental impairments as may be prescribed."

(a)  the number of people undertaking work-related activity;

(i)  is in non-remunerative work, or
(ii)  has a gross income from remunerative work of under £101.00 per week."
