  This Act shall not come into force before the digital switchover scheme is published and presented to both Houses of Parliament."

18Insert the following new Schedule—
"SCHEDULE Provisions about information to be disclosed
 

Preliminary

 1      In this Schedule—
  "relevant person" has the same meaning as in section 1;
  "recipient" means a recipient of help under the help scheme.
 

Prescription of information

 2      Information disclosed by the Secretary of State under sections 1 and 2 of this Act is confined to the kinds of information in paragraph 3 of this Schedule.
 

Kinds of information

 3      A relevant person must not disclose information that is not—
(a)  information described in section 2,
(b)  personal information about a recipient including their—
(i)  name,
(ii)  date of birth,
(iii)  address,
(c)  details of any person appointed to act on behalf of a recipient, and
(d)  the fact that a recipient has died, where that is the case.
 

Retention of information

 4      A relevant person must ensure that information disclosed to them in connection with digital switchover help functions is destroyed on completion of the digital switchover help scheme."
