Prayers were read by the Lord Bishop of Salisbury 1 Lord Mowbray and Stourton The Lord Speaker informed the House that Lord Mowbray and Stourton, a member of the House, had died on 12 December 2006. After debate, the motion was withdrawn. 7 Post offices Lord Truscott repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons. 8 Immigration and asylum (Balloted debate) Lord Hylton moved for papers relating to the human consequences of current immigration and asylum law and practice and to possible improvements in the systems of assessment, care and support. After debate, the motion was withdrawn. 9 Petroleum Act 1998 (Third Party Access) Order 2007 Lord Truscott moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 20 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to. 10 Science and Technology Facilities Council Order 2007 Lord Truscott moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 20 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to. 11 BAE Systems: Al Yamamah Contract Lord Goldsmith made a ministerial statement. 12 Technology Strategy Board Order 2007 Lord Truscott moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 23 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to. 13 Employment Act 2002 (Amendment of Schedules 3, 4 and 5) Order 2006 Lord Truscott moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 23 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to. 14 Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Bill [HL] The bill was reported from the Grand Committee with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 22) The House adjourned at 6.11pm until Friday 15 December at 11.00am. Grand Committee Business The Grand Committee met in the Moses Room at 2.00pm Tribunals, Courts and Enforcement Bill [HL] The Grand Committee considered the bill further. Amendments 61 to 129 were considered. Amendments were agreed to. The Committee adjourned. The Committee resumed. Amendments 130 to 133 were considered. It was ordered that the bill be reported with amendments. The Committee adjourned at 6.29pm.
