10 Travel Expenses for Lords’ spouses, civil partners and children The Lord President (Baroness Amos) moved to resolve that this House approves the following proposals with respect to travel expenses incurred by spouses, civil partners and children of Members of this House on or after 1 January 2006—
(1) The Resolution of 27 November 1996 is amended as follows.
(2) In paragraph (1) after “spouse” insert “or civil partner” and after “18” insert “, or any child in full-time secondary education, during the academic year in which they become aged 18,”.
(3) In paragraph (3) after “spouse” insert “or civil partner” and after “18” insert “, or any child in full-time secondary education, during the academic year in which they become aged 18,”.
The motion was agreed to.
11 Investment Exchanges and Clearing Houses Bill The bill was read a third time and passed.
12 Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Bill Baroness Scotland of Asthal moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Grand Committee.
