9 Climate Change The Lord President (Baroness Amos) moved that it is expedient that a Joint Committee of Lords and Commons be appointed to consider and report on the draft Climate Change Bill presented to both Houses on 13 March 2007 (Cm 7040) and that the Committee should report on the draft Bill by 13 July. The motion was agreed to and a message was sent to the Commons.

12 Northern Ireland Act 2000 (Modification) Order 2007 Lord Rooker moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 20 February be approved. The motion was agreed to.
13 Police (Northern Ireland) Act 2000 (Renewal of Temporary Provisions) Order 2007 Lord Rooker moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 29 January be approved. Then Lord Trimble moved an amendment to the original motion, to leave out all the words after “that” and insert “this House, having regard to the changed circumstances which render reverse discrimination counter-productive, declines to approve the draft Order”. After debate, the amendment was disagreed to (see division list). Then the original motion was agreed to.
14 European Union (Information, etc.) Bill [HL] The bill was read a third time and passed and sent to the Commons.
15 Welfare Reform Bill The bill was read a third time. Amendments were agreed to. Then the bill was passed and returned to the Commons with amendments.
16 Serious Crime Bill [HL] The bill was further considered in Committee, beginning with amendment 115. Amendments were agreed to. The House resumed and the bill was reported with amendments. The bill, as amended, was ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 59)

17 Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) (No. 2) Bill A bill to modify the effect of the Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) Act 2006 was brought from the Commons and read a first time. Then, Standing Order 47 having been dispensed with, Lord Rooker moved that the bill be now read a second time. After debate, the motion was agreed to and the bill was committed to a Committee of the Whole House.

18 Northern Ireland (St Andrews Agreement) (No. 2) Bill The bill was considered in Committee. The House resumed and the bill was reported without amendment. The report was received. The bill was read a third time and passed.
