11    Rating (Empty Properties) Bill The Queen’s consent was signified. The bill was read a third time and passed.

12    Offender Management Bill The report stage was continued, beginning with amendment 23A. Amendments were agreed to. Amendment 28 was agreed to (see division list). The report stage was adjourned.

13    Constitution The Lord President (Baroness Ashton of Upholland) repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

14    Statistics and Registration Service Bill The bill was returned from the Commons with certain amendments disagreed to with reasons for such disagreement, with another amendment disagreed to with a reason for such disagreement and with an amendment proposed to the words so restored to the bill, with certain other amendments disagreed to but with amendments proposed in lieu thereof and with the remaining amendments agreed to without amendment. It was ordered that the amendments and reasons be printed. (HL Bill 89)

2    Ashley (FC) and another (FC) (Respondents) v Chief Constable of Sussex Police (Appellant) The appeal was set down for hearing and referred to an Appellate Committee (lodged 2 July).

3    Appeal Committee The following Order was made pursuant to the 56th Report:
