Sub-Committee B considered this document, and
your Explanatory Memorandum, at its meeting on 24 July 2006.
We agree with your assessment that minimising
the duplication of costs and structures between the GJU and the
GSA is a sensible strategy. We note however, that a number of
issues need to be resolved over intellectual property rights,
and would be grateful for an update from you when progress is
made on negotiations over those issues.
We will hold this proposal under scrutiny at
this stage.
