11 Corruption (3-hour debate) Baroness Williams of Crosby moved for papers relating to the responsibilities of the Attorney General, other members of the Government and the Serious Fraud Office for compliance with the United Kingdom’s treaty obligations and the rule of law regarding the alleged bribery and corruption of foreign officials. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
12 Crime: re-offending (2½-hour debate) Baroness Linklater of Butterstone moved for papers relating to the challenges that high re-offending rates cause to society and to the effectiveness of alternatives to custody. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
13 Common Agricultural Policy Single Payment and Support Schemes (Cross-compliance) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2006 Baroness Byford moved that a Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty praying that the Regulations, laid before the House on 8 December 2006, be annulled (SI 2006/3254). After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
14 Social Security (Claims and Payments) Amendment (No. 2) Regulations 2006 Lord Skelmersdale moved that a Humble Address be presented to Her Majesty praying that the Regulations, laid before the House on 6 December 2006, be annulled (SI 2006/3188). After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
