The Lord President (Baroness Ashton of Upholland) moved that the draft statutory instruments be referred to a Grand Committee en bloc. The motion was agreed to.
9 Disability rights (2½-hour debate) Lord Morris of Manchester moved for papers relating to the 30th anniversary of disability rights legislation covering the whole of the United Kingdom and the progress of disability rights. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
10 Sport and physical education (2½-hour debate) Lord Pendry moved for papers relating to the case for a new sport and physical education strategy. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
11 Common Agricultural Policy (EUC Report) Lord Sewel moved that this House takes note of the Report of the European Union Committee on The Future of the Common Agricultural Policy (7th Report, HL Paper 54). After debate, the motion was agreed to.
