Select Committee on the Crossrail Bill Minutes of Evidence

Examination of Witnesses (Questions 2320 - 2324)

2320. CHAIRMAN: And are you going to have your surveyor?

2321. MS LIEVEN: I am going to have Mr Smith tomorrow; Mr Berryman is having an afternoon off, relatively speaking—I think he will be in another meeting.

2322. CHAIRMAN: I did not think he ever had an afternoon off!

2323. MS LIEVEN: I do not think he does! So I will just have Mr Smith as my witness tomorrow.

2324. CHAIRMAN: We will adjourn now until ten o'clock tomorrow morning. Thank you very much, Mr Middleton, for coming, and I am glad you did think that you got a fair crack of the whip because that is what we wished to achieve.
