Foreword—What this Report is about
This report makes available the oral evidence provided
by Pat McFadden MP to EU Sub-Committee G (Social Policy and
Consumer Affairs) following the political agreements reached in
Council on 9 June 2008 in relation to: amendments to the 2003
Working Time Directive; and a new directive on the working conditions
of temporary agency workers. Related correspondence between the
Committee and the Government is shown in Appendices.
