These documents were considered by Sub-Committee
E at its meeting on 21 February. We note that the Government consider
the removal of the attestation procedure and of the exchange of
information regime to be sensible steps. We agree and support
the less burdensome approach now being proposed by the Commission.
The Committee decided to clear the documents
from scrutiny.
