*The Lord Archbishop of York to ask Her Majesty’s Government how they intend to provide additional support to sheep farmers following the implementation of new electronic identification requirements in 2010, given the current inaccuracies in tag reading equipment.

*Baroness Stern to ask Her Majesty’s Government how they plan to respond to the report on Garth prison by HM Chief Inspector of Prisons, in particular her comments about the effect of budget cuts on the prison system as a whole.

12   Education (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 Baroness Verma moved to resolve that this House calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to withdraw the Education (Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators) (England) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 (SI 2009/1387) and to replace them with regulations that leave more responsibility with schools and headteachers. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
