Lord Moynihan

Director and Shareholder, Rowan Companies plc; an international oil and gas drilling company with a fleet of jack-up rigs and ultra-deep-water drill ships which provide contract drilling services and rigs to oil and gas operators. In its 90-year history, Rowan has developed the expertise and technology to operate drilling rigs in extreme cold environments, such as land rigs on the North Slope of Alaska and jack-up rigs on the Grand Banks of Eastern Canada and the Cook Inlet of Alaska. The Company’s land drilling division operated north of the Arctic Circle; however, the Company has since divested this division. The Company’s sole focus is now offshore and it has never operated offshore rigs north of the Arctic Circle.
