Lord Alton of Liverpool to move to resolve that this House believes that Christians, Yazidis, and other ethnic and religious minorities in Iraq and Syria are suffering genocide at the hands of Daesh; and calls upon Her Majesty’s Government to make a referral to the United Nations Security Council with a view to conferring jurisdiction upon the International Criminal Court or a war crimes tribunal, so that the perpetrators can be brought to justice.
Lord Hylton to move to resolve, in the light of the failure of successive negotiations between Israel and Palestine and of the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, that this House calls for full international protection for the Occupied Palestinian Territories in order to achieve security for Israel and self-determination for the Palestinians.
Lord Lester of Herne Hill to move to resolve that the draft BBC Royal Charter should be laid before this House for debate, and that the BBC Royal Charter should not be granted until this House has debated on and approved the draft BBC Royal Charter.
Baroness Featherstone to move to resolve, in the light of the United Kingdom’s carbon emission targets under the Climate Change Act 2008 and the growth potential of the United Kingdom’s renewable industries, that this House calls on Her Majesty’s Government to introduce a moratorium on hydraulic fracturing, or "fracking", until the health, environmental and economic concerns about this industry have been fully investigated.

Lord Hodgson of Astley Abbotts to move that this House regrets that the draft Claims in respect of Loss or Damage arising from Competition Infringements (Competition Act 1998 and Other Enactments (Amendment)) Regulations 2017 were laid without Her Majesty’s Government taking the opportunity to bring forward proposals for a regulatory structure which will maintain public trust and confidence in the provision of funding for third party litigants.
Lord Hunt of Kings Heath to move that this House regrets that the draft Nursing and Midwifery (Amendment) Order 2017 abolishes the statutory midwifery committee; and calls on Her Majesty’s Government to ensure that robust arrangements are in place to ensure the continuation of supportive clinical supervision and leadership for midwives. 22nd Report from the Secondary Legislation Scrutiny Committee

12 European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill A bill to confer power on the Prime Minister to notify, under Article 50(2) of the Treaty on European Union, the United Kingdom’s intention to withdraw from the EU was brought from the Commons. It was read a first time and ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 103)
13 European Union (Notification of Withdrawal) Bill The Explanatory Notes on the bill were ordered to be printed. (HL Bill 103–EN)

Neighbourhood Planning Bill The Grand Committee further considered the bill, beginning with amendment 60. Amendments 66, 67, 70, 71, 74, 76 to 85, 87, 98 to 101, 103, 105, 106, 108, 112 to 115, 120, 121, 123, 124, 130 and 131 were agreed to. It was ordered that the bill be reported with amendments.
