Appendix 3: Complainant’s response to Commissioner’s supplementary report
I have received the supplementary report written by Commissioner Lucy.
I agree with Commissioner Lucy’s recommendation to have Lord Ahmed expelled.
Also I have read the ‘Extract from Lord Ahmed’s further response’. I would like to make clear my position on what he wrote which is: He is a manipulator and a liar. He has twisted anything and everything I have said. He is unapologetic and arrogant. He remains unremorseful and he continues to pervert the course of justice.
In addition to this, if allowed to give my own suggestion, I would like to put to the committee and Lord Mance that given the position Lord Ahmed has been in, the way he has lied, and convinced his friends to malign against me, and how he abused his position – and I do not doubt he has done this before…he should also be fined.
I feel there needs to be additional strong consequences against Lord Ahmed and his friends who have been lying. Personally I feel there should be fining for all of them and this will act as a deterrent for anyone else seeking to abuse their position in future too. They all gave false witness statements of truth which is a criminal offence.
Lord Ahmed along with his friends, that essentially have acted as ‘accomplices’ by lying and trying to protect his wrongdoings, have wasted everyone’s time.
This should be part of the code of conduct, as I feel that the false witnesses who lied against me would have thought twice or withheld, out of fear of the consequences. This will help protect innocent parties. I feel that false witnesses should also be warned that they will be fined as well as any Lord or Lady doing so.
I hope that is okay….?
I feel like there has been so much going back and forward, and Lord Ahmed will continue to lie and fabricate, coming up with further false witnesses. When do we draw the line…?
I need closure…I am so tired of this.
