1.In June we wrote to the Rt. Hon. Jacob Rees-Mogg MP, Lord President of the Council and Leader of the House of Commons, about the relationship between guidance and legislation and about the role of Senor Responsible Owners in providing oversight of Statutory Instruments in government departments. Our letter and the response we have received are published in Appendix 1 of this report.
