I work for Business in the Community 2 days a week as Director of Place. In that capacity I sponsor business led interventions in several places around the UK. Of these, the only one on the coast is Blackpool. Our intention is to intervene over the long term in such a way as to facilitate transformational, positive and long-lasting change in the places where we operate. Local funding to support activity is sourced from local businesses and from the council.

I work alongside Lord Bassam at Business in the Community. I also liaise with Lord McNally on some of the Blackpool issues.

Baroness Walmsley

Baroness Wyld

Non-executive board member, Ofsted

* Earl Howe has recused himself from this inquiry on the grounds of ministerial propriety.
