Memorandum submitted by Quedgeley Parish
Council (FL 35)
The Quedgeley Parish Council believes that the
following issues should be addressed:
Regular programmed cleansing of street
gullies and surface water drainage systems does not appear to
take place
There appears to be no regular programmed
maintenance of watercourses.
Greater control of building on or
in proximity to flood plains.
New houses to have more "green"
land.
New commercial premises to recycle
"grey" water.
Dredging of main rivers and canals.
Improved flood protection to water
treatment works, sewage pumping stations and electricity sub-stations.
