6 National Health Service (3 hour debate) Lord Colwyn moved for papers relating to the current situation in the National Health Service. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
7 Adult social services (2 hour debate) Lord Bruce-Lockhart moved for papers relating to the funding of local authority adult social services and the consequences for the rising numbers of elderly people. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.
8 Financial Assistance Scheme (Miscellaneous Amendments) Regulations 2006 Lord Hunt of Kings Heath moved that the draft Regulations laid before the House on 15 November be approved. After debate, the motion was agreed to.
9 Films (Definition of “British Film”) (No. 2) Order 2006 Lord Evans of Temple Guiting moved that the draft Order laid before the House on 28 November be approved. The motion was agreed to.
