2    Bournemouth Borough Council Bill [HL] Lord Eden of Winton moved that the bill be read a third time. The motion was agreed to. After debate, the bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

3    Manchester City Council Bill [HL] Lord Bradley moved that the bill be read a third time. The motion was agreed to. The bill was passed and sent to the Commons.

11    Crime: sexual offences (2½-hour debate) Baroness Gale moved for papers relating to the Government’s record on the management and prosecution of sexual offences. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

12    Remploy Lord McKenzie of Luton repeated a ministerial statement made in the House of Commons.

13    Railways (2½-hour debate) Lord Berkeley moved for papers relating to the growth in passenger and freight traffic on Britain’s railways. After debate, the motion was withdrawn.

14    Statistics Board A question was asked by Lord Jenkin of Roding and, after debate, answered by Lord Bach.
